Arc'teryx Sylan GTX Running Shoes Review
Dude, when I first saw the pre - launch of these Arc'teryx Sylan GTX running shoes, I was like, "I gotta have 'em!" Just looking at 'em, forget about all the high - tech stuff for a sec. The black - and - white color combo is so sick, the shoe shape is on point, and the height boost? It's perfect. You can go from hitting the trails to walking around the city without missing a beat, and they match everything.
I took these bad boys on a week - long hiking trip in the mountains of Guizhou. For three days straight, it was raining, from light to medium. The paths were all slippery and rough. But these shoes were a dream! They're super light, so you don't feel weighed down at all. And the grip? I never once slipped. Now, I know a lot of people are iffy about the GTX material and whether it breathes well. But let me tell you, my feet never felt stuffy. And the waterproofing? Not a single drop got in, even when I was trudging through puddles.
So yeah, I'm giving these a huge thumbs - up. If you're thinking about getting into Arc'teryx shoes, this is the one to start with. I also have an Aerios Aura pair, which is supposed to be great for hiking too. But the Sylan GTX just blows it out of the water. Of course, you're gonna pay a bit more for these, but trust me, they're worth it.
