Heads Up! My Terrible Experience with Arc'teryx Vertex Alpine GTX Approach Shoes - Men's (VERTEX ALPINE GTX W)
Guys, I gotta warn you about these Arc'teryx Vertex Alpine GTX Approach Shoes for men, specifically the VERTEX ALPINE GTX W model. It's been a total nightmare, and I don't want anyone else to go through what I did.
First off, these shoes have zero grip. I was walking in the snow, and I nearly took a nose - dive multiple times. It's like they're designed to be slippery on purpose. In a situation where you need to be stable, like on snow - covered paths, this is just unacceptable.
The shoes are rock - hard. My feet feel like they're being tortured with every step. It's not comfortable at all, and forget about enjoying a walk. And putting them on? It's a battle. You have to really struggle to get your feet in there.
But the absolute worst part is that they make your feet sweat like crazy. After just a short walk, my socks were drenched. It's so gross, and it makes your feet feel clammy and uncomfortable.
I thought about returning them, but since I already wore them, the store won't take them back. So, I'm stuck with these expensive, useless shoes. Please, save your money and your feet the pain. Avoid this model at all costs!
