Arc'teryx Sylan GTX Trail-Running Shoes - Men's review
I usually don't buy Arc'teryx shoes. Last time I was out shopping, I spotted this SYLAN GTX trail running shoe. But man, they didn't have my size. I was so bummed. Luckily, they restocked on the official website these days, and I ordered it right away.
When I got the shoes, the design is really cool. The classic black and white color looks great, and they look even better when I put them on. They're made of windproof and waterproof material, but they don't make my feet feel stuffy. The Vibram sole not only gives a good height boost but also has a strong grip. But there's no carbon plate in these shoes.
The shoes do have a drawback though. The sizing runs small. If you order your regular size, it'll press on your instep. You should order at least half a size larger. The shoe body is narrow overall. I feel like if you really use them for trail running, it's easy to twist your ankle. But for me, I just bought them to wear on rainy days when I'm commuting. I'm not too picky about performance. As long as I like how they look, that's all that matters.
