KEEN Targhee III Waterproof Mid Hiking Boots - Women's review
I've had these KEEN Targhee III Waterproof Mid Hiking Boots for women on my feet for almost a year now, and here's the lowdown.
Comfort: Man, these boots are super comfy, easy 5 - star material. They're really light, and the feel is soft, not that stiff, hard - as - a - rock kind of deal. Your feet just sink in and feel great.
Ankle Support: I'd give 'em a 4 - star rating. They're mid - cut, so they don't support your ankles as much as high - tops would. But still, they do a real good job, and your feet don't get tired. And they're way more flexible than high - cut boots. Only thing is, with the mid - cut, it's easier for sand and small rocks to get in there.
Grip: Another 5 - star for this one. I stepped in dog poop by accident one time, and that's when I realized how good these boots are at gripping. Whether you're going up a slope or coming down, you feel totally secure.
Anti - slip: I'd rate 'em 4 stars for this. On ice, nothing beats ice cleats, but these boots can handle short stretches of ice and snow just fine. I got some crazy story from last weekend because of my dog, but the video's not edited yet. Once it is, you'll see what I mean.
Waterproof: Five stars all the way. These boots keep water out, both inside and out, and they let your feet breathe too. I haven't walked through a stream with 'em yet, but when I soaked 'em in water while cleaning, the inside stayed dry. I think the second - gen of these boots won an award. I'm sure this third - gen is even better.
