Arc'teryx Rho LT Base Layer Hoody - Men's L review
Last winter, this Arc'teryx Rho LT hoody was my constant companion. It worked so well that I had to get another one this year. The best part? That built - in hood. When I'm out on my motorcycle, I just slip this on as a base layer. Pulling up the hood and face mask is like having a shield against the cold wind. And it's the same story when I'm skiing. It's like they knew exactly what I needed!
This men's hoody is a lightweight and warm mid - layer that's got some really cool features:
1. The Fabric
They used Polartec® Power Stretch® Pro. It's got this four - way stretch, so whether I'm doing some wild acrobatic moves on my bike or just hiking around, it moves right along with me. I never feel constricted, and it's super comfy.
2. Warmth and Breathability
The fleece lining on the inside is amazing. It keeps me nice and warm, but I don't start sweating buckets. It breathes well, so my body temperature stays balanced.
3. The Hood
The hood is a game - changer. It gives my head that extra warmth when I'm out in the cold. And I can adjust it to fit just right, whether I'm wearing a helmet over it or not.
4. Cuffs and Hem
The cuffs are stretchy and fit snug around my wrists. No cold air is sneaking in there! And the long hem is great. It covers more of my back, so I don't get that cold draft.
5. Lightweight
I'm always surprised at how light this hoody is. It's like I'm not even wearing an extra layer. It doesn't weigh me down, no matter what I'm doing.
6. Easy to Pack
When I'm done using it, I can just fold it up real small and toss it in my backpack. It doesn't take up much space at all, which is really handy.
7. Style
It's got a simple, cool look. I can wear it for all my outdoor activities and not look like a goof. It's stylish enough to wear by itself in milder weather or as a mid - layer when it's freezing outside.
I've used this in all sorts of cold - weather situations, and it's always been reliable. A bunch of my buddies who are into outdoor stuff feel the same way. It's a really great piece of gear!
