Arc'teryx Granville Zip 16 Pack review
So, I picked up the Arc'teryx Granville 16L backpack a couple of months ago at REI, and I've been using it pretty much daily since then. Everyone talks about how great it is, and honestly, they're not wrong – it's a solid bag. But, like anything, it's not perfect. So, I wanted to share the downsides I've noticed.
First off, this thing gets dirty fast. I mean, seriously, I don't even know how it happens. Like you can see in the picture, it just seems to attract dirt. The REI salesperson even warned me about it when I bought it, said the black one especially shows everything. She wasn't kidding.
Another thing is the back panel. It's kind of curved, and I'm not sure if that's a design thing, a defect, or what. I'd love to hear from someone who knows more about backpacks if this is normal. I was a little worried that the material on the back would snag my clothes, but so far, that hasn't been a problem. I haven't noticed any wear on my shirts or anything.
And, of course, the price. Let's be real, it's not cheap. Arc'teryx stuff is definitely expensive, and you're paying a premium for the brand name. But, I figured if it lasts me a few years, it'll be worth it in the long run. "You get what you pay for," right? At least, that's what I'm hoping.
