Arc'teryx Beta AR Tatsu review

Beta AR (All Round) Features

1. Where It Shines: I use this thing for all sorts of outdoor stuff. Whether I'm hitting the mountains for a climb, going on a long hike, or shredding the slopes skiing, the Beta AR is right there with me. It's like the Swiss Army knife of outdoor gear when it comes to where it's useful.

2. Weight: It's not too heavy, but not super light either. It's that middle - of - the - road kind of weight. You can tell it's built tough, but it doesn't feel like you're lugging around a ton of extra stuff. It's got that perfect balance between being durable and easy to carry around.

3. What Makes It Special: They made this with 3 - layer GORE - TEX Pro material. Man, this thing is like a fortress against the elements. It keeps the water out like a champ, and at the same time, it breathes so you don't feel all sweaty and gross. And it's tough as nails, can take a beating in those rough, harsh conditions. The design is all - around awesome. It keeps the wind and rain at bay and also gives you some warmth. It's like it's made for any outdoor adventure you can think of.

Colors and Series Comparisons

1. Colors: Ever since 2020, Arc'teryx has come out with a whole bunch of colors for their hardshells. This two - tone color on the Beta AR Tatsu, I'm telling you, it looks really cool. Some of those other bright colors they have, they might look okay when you're out skiing or climbing, but if you're just walking around the city or traveling, they look kind of weird. But this color, it's just right. And don't even get me started on the gold - label version. That thing is seriously good - looking.

2. Series Comparisons: Now, compared to the Beta Lt series, the Ar series is a bit thicker. So if you're into skiing or climbing, it's a great choice. And if you're looking at the Sv series, the Ar series gives you more bang for your buck. I'd definitely recommend this color of the Ar series to anyone looking for a good outdoor jacket.
